Ryan Hartigan is an artist and scholar from Aotearoa-New Zealand and currently Assistant Professor of Theatre at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He has been a past visiting faculty member in Theater History and Dramaturgy at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and has also taught at Brown University, Victoria University of Wellington, Massey University, and a range of performance conservatories. He was, until recently, Associate Artistic Director / Artist-in-Residence at the Contemporary Theater Company in Rhode Island.
